CEER EXOBOT specifications, range and launch timing
Saudi Arabia’s CEER has revealed the EXOBOT sedan and SUV with a 112 kWh battery, 800 V architecture and up to 670 km NEDC range; pricing remains undisclosed.
Saudi Arabia has shown the first vehicles from its own CEER brand: the EXOBOT family opens with an electric sedan and SUV. After the global premiere on September 21, the company also published the first specifications: a 112 kWh battery, an 800 V architecture and output of up to 850 hp. Claimed range reaches 670 km on the NEDC cycle for the sedan and 560 km for the SUV, while a 10–80% charge takes less than 30 minutes. Prices and exact sales timing have not yet been announced publicly.
Both vehicles were developed and engineered in Saudi Arabia, with production due to take place at the CEER Manufacturing Complex. The sedan and SUV will be the first of seven models the company plans to launch over five years. The range is later expected to expand to midsize and compact vehicles with different types of powertrains.
The premiere has an important backstory. When CEER was established in 2022, PIF said the brand’s first vehicles would be available in 2025. It was also announced that CEER is a joint venture between PIF and Foxconn, uses licensed BMW component technology, and relies on Foxconn for the electrical architecture. That original market deadline has passed: CEER now lists the EXOBOT First Edition as available soon, while the next Plus trim is scheduled for 2027.
Saudi Arabia is also building a broader automotive ecosystem around the project. Chinese brands are entering the local market, with Wuling signing an agreement with Saudi distributor United Motors Group. Lucid is expanding production in the country and plans to begin building the more affordable Cosmos electric crossover there in the second half of 2027. CEER differs in that it is a Saudi-owned brand and OEM rather than a local manufacturing site for a foreign marque.
The next real test for EXOBOT is therefore not another release of basic specifications, but the move into the commercial phase. Pricing, the exact availability of the First Edition and the start of series production will show how far CEER has progressed from a national industrial project toward a full-scale automaker.
