By the end of 2026, owners of selected European Zeekr models will be able to launch games on the factory infotainment screen while using a smartphone instead of a gamepad. The automaker has partnered with Swiss company N-Dream to integrate the AirConsole platform. The feature will arrive through an over-the-air software update, but access will require a Zeekr Connected Premium subscription.

The first demonstration took place at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Visitors could play PAC-MAN Championship Edition directly on the Zeekr 7GT infotainment system. To connect, users simply scan a QR code on the display, after which the smartphone becomes a wireless controller. No additional hardware is required.

The most unusual part of the demonstration was the interaction between the game and the cabin. PAC-MAN Championship Edition was synchronized with the ambient lighting, so the light effects reacted to what was happening on screen. The game is offered on AirConsole through cooperation with Bandai Namco Entertainment. It has not yet been confirmed that lighting integration will be available on every production Zeekr equipped with AirConsole.

According to N-Dream, Zeekr is the first AirConsole partner within Geely Auto Group. The gaming platform is already used in vehicles from BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Skoda and Tata Motors. The developer says the total compatible fleet exceeds 5 million vehicles.

Automakers use different commercial models for in-car gaming. In the United States, for example, Volkswagen includes AirConsole in the In-Vehicle Premium package for several 2027 model-year vehicles. After the free period, the subscription costs $149 per year. Zeekr has also chosen a subscription model, but the price of Connected Premium and the full game catalog for its cars have not yet been disclosed.

Compatibility is an important limitation. Zeekr Europe confirms that AirConsole will be rolled out through an over-the-air update only to selected European models. The 7GT demonstration does not mean the gaming platform will appear on every example of that model or on every Zeekr vehicle.

Availability for Zeekr vehicles built to Chinese-market specification has also not been confirmed. The official announcement concerns selected European models and the Zeekr Connected Premium package, so those conditions cannot automatically be applied to cars originally intended for other markets.

The first stage of the AirConsole rollout is planned for the remaining months of 2026. Zeekr is expected to clarify the exact list of compatible vehicles, subscription terms and available games by the time the service launches.
