Volkswagen ID. Tiguan 2027: European prices, 58 and 77 kWh batteries and WLTP range
Volkswagen has opened ID. Tiguan orders in Europe. Prices start at €42,695 in Germany and €43,990 in France; Spain's €32,400 offer depends on financing and incentives.
Volkswagen has opened orders for the electric ID. Tiguan in several European countries. In France, the starting price is €43,990, while in Germany it is €42,695. The difference is €1,295. In Spain, Volkswagen advertises the new model for just €32,400, but that price is available only if additional conditions are met.
Volkswagen's French configurator lists three trim levels. The entry-level ID. Tiguan Trend at €43,990 has a 190 hp electric motor and a 58 kWh battery, providing up to 456 km of WLTP range. The Life version with the same powertrain starts at €45,290, while the Style with a 77 kWh battery and 286 hp starts at €52,100.
The Spanish offer looks far more attractive at €32,400. However, Volkswagen Spain states that this price for the Match trim with the 58 kWh battery includes financing through Volkswagen Financial Services, brand discounts, Plan Auto+ support and CAES compensation. The €11,590 gap versus the French base price is therefore not a simple manufacturer discount. Different trims and purchase conditions are also being compared.
A similar scheme is already used in Spain for the updated Renault Megane E-Tech, where the advertised amount is significantly lower than the regular list price thanks to financing and government programmes.
Technically, the ID. Tiguan comes in three versions: rear-wheel drive with 190 hp and a 58 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive with 286 hp and a 77 kWh battery, and a 299 hp 4MOTION all-wheel-drive version using the same 77 kWh battery. Volkswagen Spain quotes up to 454, 605 and 564 km WLTP respectively. Figures differ slightly in other markets: the German configurator shows up to 607 km, while the French one lists up to 608 km. Final range depends on the version and equipment.
The new prices add market detail to the ID. Tiguan specifications revealed at its world premiere in October. The crossover will replace the ID.4 and ID.5 while retaining a practical five-seat body with up to 534 litres of rear cargo space and a 32-litre front storage compartment. Production is based in Emden, Germany, with the model expected to reach customers in early 2027.
