Only two Maserati GranTurismo Nero Infinito cars will be offered in Japan at 23.77 million yen each. The updated 2027 GranTurismo is already listed in the Japanese catalogue from 22.32 million yen, so the special edition costs 1.45 million yen more. The cars belong to different model years and have different equipment, however, so that entire gap cannot be treated as the price of the cosmetic package alone.

Nero Infinito will be the final Japan-only special edition of the current GranTurismo before the updated 2027 model arrives. Its appeal is based mainly on rarity, a black-themed specification and specially selected equipment.

Both right-hand-drive coupes receive Nero Assoluto metallic paint, forged Pegaso wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, black brake calipers and dark-finished Maserati and GranTurismo rear badges. The cabin combines Campidoglio leather, Macro Twill carbon-fibre trim and a black Alcantara headliner. Matrix LED headlights, the Sport Design Package, self-levelling centre caps and black valve caps are also included.

In the published specification, Maserati does not list unique engine or chassis changes for Nero Infinito. The updated 2027 GranTurismo, meanwhile, receives a redesigned front end and aerodynamics, revised cabin details and updated digital interfaces. Output of the Trofeo version rises from 550 to 590 hp.

The Nero Infinito name is not new. Japan received special Ghibli and Levante versions with the same theme in 2022, followed by Grecale editions. In April 2026, Maserati announced 13 Grecale Modena Nero Infinito units for the Japanese market.

GranTurismo Nero Infinito is especially rare even by the standards of Maserati's Japanese limited editions, with production restricted to two cars. Maserati does not claim that the version has special mechanical components or any guaranteed collectible or investment value.

Sales are limited to Japan.
