Jetour Traveller 7: China prices, C-DM range and XWD specifications
Jetour launched the Traveller 7 in China with ICE and C-DM versions. Renewal pricing starts at 125,900 yuan, while a 251 km CLTC PHEV is also offered.
Just 2,000 yuan separates two very different versions of the new Jetour Traveller 7. Under the vehicle-renewal program, the C-DM 2WD Pro plug-in hybrid is listed at 143,900 yuan, while the 2.0TD XWD Discovery with all-wheel drive costs 145,900 yuan. All three C-DM trims in the launch price table are identified as front-wheel drive.
Jetour launched eight Traveller 7 versions on October 14. The entry 1.5TD 2WD Exploration costs 125,900 yuan under the renewal program. Its recommended retail price is 139,900 yuan, while the separate cash-discount price is 131,900 yuan.
That leaves another 6,000 yuan between the cash price and the lowest renewal-program figure. The headline 125,900-yuan price therefore is not an unconditional purchase price.
The hardware split is equally important. The petrol Traveller 7 2.0TD XWD uses a 187 kW engine, roughly 254 hp, and XWD all-wheel drive. Launch materials for C-DM mention a CATL battery of up to 45.12 kWh and up to 251 km of electric range on CLTC. However, the launch price table labels the three C-DM trims as 2WD, while other presentation material describes a three-motor all-wheel-drive system rated at 575 kW. That figure should not be assigned automatically to the entry front-wheel-drive hybrids without a full trim specification.
Traveller 7 is 4,827 mm long with a 2,800 mm wheelbase. The launch data show that buyers need to check the exact trim carefully: price, drivetrain layout and the C-DM powertrain specification vary by version, and the published material still contains a contradiction between the price table and the presentation claims.
