BMW XM Label Frozen-Style Edition: a Japan-only run of 44

BMW has unveiled the limited-run XM Label Frozen-Style Edition, a Japan-only offering. With just 44 cars slated for production, it ranks among the rarest iterations of the XM. Every example comes in a matte Frozen Tanzanite Blue finish, while Frozen Black is available at no extra cost—a palette that plays up the SUV’s bold surfacing.

Built on the high-output Label variant, the special edition rides on 23-inch black wheels, adds glossy brake calipers, and features BMW’s signature Light Carpet. Inside, Merino leather in Night Blue pairs with Vintage Coffee accents and an Alcantara headliner—a spec that leans into visual drama while keeping the cabin richly trimmed. A 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system is standard.

The XM Frozen-Style Edition is priced at 24.5 million yen (about $163,000), roughly on par with a similarly equipped XM in the United States. For this run, though, the headline is exclusivity.
