2027 Changan Nevo Q07 Debuts in China With Tianshu Pilot Pro
The updated Changan Nevo Q07 offers lidar, CDC suspension and 215 km of CLTC electric range at a launch price of 129,800 yuan.
Changan has introduced the 2027 Nevo Q07 Tianshu Pilot Edition plug-in hybrid. Lidar, CDC adaptive suspension and Tianshu Pilot Pro driver assistance are standard even on the entry trim. Its claimed electric range is 215 km under China’s CLTC cycle, while launch prices start at 129,800 yuan.
Sales began in China on October 20, 2026. Four trims have list prices of 139,800, 149,800, 159,800 and 169,800 yuan. Introductory prices are 129,800, 139,800, 149,800 and 159,800 yuan, respectively. The direct price reduction is 10,000 yuan per trim; other advertised benefits must not be added to that cash discount.
Previously, the least expensive lidar-equipped Q07 cost 159,800 yuan. The new series begins 30,000 yuan lower at its promotional price, but this compares different trims and offers from different periods, not the same vehicle receiving a 30,000-yuan markdown.
All four trims have lidar, Tianshu Pilot Pro and a 128-TOPS Horizon Journey 6M chip. Other sensors comprise three millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Navigation-assisted urban driving can handle intersections and turns, but this is driver assistance, not fully autonomous operation.
CDC adaptive dampers are also standard, marketed as the intelligent Magic Carpet suspension. Electronic damping control aims to reduce body roll and improve response over rough surfaces. Changan claims a 10% improvement in cornering stability and a 15% improvement in rear suspension performance; these are manufacturer figures.
The plug-in hybrid system pairs a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated or 1.5T turbocharged gasoline engine with electric drive, depending on trim. All four Tianshu Pilot Edition versions use battery cells from CATL and claim 215 km of CLTC electric range. Changan quotes a combined range exceeding 1,400 km.
Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes about 15 minutes with a suitable charger and favorable conditions. Both the 215-km battery-only range and the more-than-1,400-km combined figure come from Chinese test cycles. Actual results vary with weather, speed, terrain and driving style.
Changan previously offered Q07 variants with different equipment and electric-range ratings. The new lidar-equipped range starts with the 215-km version, changing the balance between price and included technology.
The principal change is that lidar-assisted driving, CDC suspension and a claimed 215-km CLTC electric range now come together even in the least expensive trim. The 129,800-yuan starting price is a limited introductory offer.
Changan also plans phased over-the-air software updates for certain earlier Q07 vehicles fitted with lidar. The updates should enable urban navigation assistance, but eligibility depends on hardware and software version. Availability outside China is not confirmed.
The 2027 Changan Nevo Q07 brings previously premium equipment to lower price points. Its highlights are standard lidar, CDC suspension and 215 km of claimed CLTC electric range. Buyers should check the promotional price terms and driver-assistance limitations.
