Cadillac partners with Warner Music to launch Lyriq EV in Australia

General Motors has unveiled a strategic partnership between Cadillac and Warner Music Australia. Timed to Cadillac’s official entry into the Australian market, the alliance is designed to amplify the brand’s musical identity by spotlighting the Lyriq electric crossover. It’s a savvy way to root an EV launch in culture rather than spec sheets.

Cadillac’s ties to music run deep, and the new collaboration leans into that heritage. The electric Lyriq features a signature AKG audio system—19 speakers in the 2025 model and 23 in the 2026 iteration. Artists from Warner Music Australia will put fresh tracks through a classic car test, using in-car listening to check how the sound translates in a realistic driving setting.

Cadillac will also put its vehicle fleet at the disposal of Warner Music artists touring Australia and New Zealand. As official tour transport, the cars underscore a mix of luxury, the hush of electric drive, and dialed-in acoustics.

Dan Rosen, president of Warner Music Australasia, noted that music and driving have always been intertwined and said the two companies are shaping an experience where every trip feels like a concert.

This move brings Cadillac closer to an audience that chooses emotion and style over mere transportation. In effect, Lyriq emerges not just as an electric car but as a symbol of the era’s cultural rhythm.
