MINI USA has unveiled a new twist on its compact crossover: the 2026 Countryman S ALL4 Oxford Edition. It will go on sale in the United States starting at $34,900, undercutting the Signature Plus trim by $4,000. The sharper price point broadens its appeal without compromising the essence of the model.

The Oxford Edition adds distinctive visual touches—a black roof and mirrors, tinted glass, 18-inch Asteroid Spoke wheels finished in black, and an anthracite headliner. Paint choices include Blazing Blue, Nanuq White, and Chili Red, a palette that gives the crossover a more focused, grown-up look.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine rated at 241 hp and 400 Nm, paired with the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system. The run to 100 km/h takes 6.2 seconds. More potent versions are also offered in the U.S.—the all-electric SE (308 hp) and the JCW (312 hp)—with the latter only 0.2 seconds quicker to 100 km/h. That small gap highlights how well-balanced the S is for everyday pace.

MINI said it introduced the Oxford Edition to stimulate demand. Over the first nine months of 2025, the brand sold 21,862 vehicles in the U.S., roughly matching the tally of the larger BMW X7 over the same period. Against that backdrop, a value-driven Oxford Edition looks like a calculated move to bring more shoppers back to the brand.

Electric MINIs are not yet available to American buyers due to import tariffs on vehicles from China. Even so, the company expects the attainable and stylish Countryman S ALL4 Oxford Edition to rekindle interest in the marque. Given the specs and pricing, that seems a sensible bet.
