At IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, GAC unveiled the Govy AirCab flying taxi concept. The model blends automotive and aviation technologies and is intended for use as an urban aeromobile. The cabin embraces a contemporary minimalist aesthetic with two comfortable seats and a passenger-facing digital interface, coming across as thoughtfully executed rather than showy.

According to the technical data, the Govy AirCab measures 5,360 mm in length, 5,750 mm in width, and 2,400 mm in height. It is configured for two occupants and can carry up to 154 kg of payload. Maximum takeoff weight is 700 kg. Range is quoted at 20 to 30 km, with a top flight speed of 120 km/h. On paper, the numbers place it squarely in the short-hop air taxi camp.

The project is presented as part of a future mobility ecosystem where cars and aircraft converge to improve urban movement. Its appearance at an auto show underscores that new cars for 2025 are evolving not only through electrification but also by venturing into the air—a logical turn as brands look for new edges in mobility.
