EBRO kicks off 2026 with a significant move: production of the new S700 HEV, the hybrid version of the brand's best-selling SUV, has launched in Barcelona. Following a successful 2025 and the introduction of the flagship S900, the company continues to expand its lineup, betting on more economical technologies and confirming serious ambitions in both domestic and European markets.

The new S700 HEV features a hybrid system based on a 1.5-liter TGDI turbo engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined 224 horsepower. Power is transmitted through an automatic transmission, with the system operating as a classic hybrid that doesn't require plug-in charging. This architecture allows the model to earn the coveted ECO label and compete with rivals like the MG HS Hybrid, Renault Austral E-Tech, and Toyota Corolla Cross.

Production is based at the EBRO Factory in Zona Franca—a facility that just a year ago resumed manufacturing vehicles under the Spanish brand. The S700 lineup now includes gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid versions, making it one of the most versatile options in the compact SUV segment.

In 2026, EBRO is also preparing a facelift for the S700 and updates to the S400 and S800 models, moving toward a full development cycle for its range. Combined with planned European expansion, this strengthens the brand's position in competing against both Chinese and European rivals.
