Toyota continues to evolve its legendary off-roader, introducing the updated Land Cruiser 250 in two new versions: Icon and Premium. The model has become more technologically advanced and comfortable while retaining its key off-road capabilities.

According to reports, under the hood lies a familiar 2.8-liter diesel engine producing 204 horsepower, supplemented by a mild 48-volt hybrid system. This setup enhances engine smoothness, reduces fuel consumption, and makes the vehicle more compliant with modern environmental standards. Meanwhile, the classic reliability and off-road prowess of the Land Cruiser remain unchanged.

The Icon version targets those seeking a true off-roader. It features a rear differential lock, off-road assistance systems, and 18-inch wheels. Visually, the model also nods to classic Toyotas, with round headlights and new color options.

In contrast, the Premium version focuses on comfort. A leather interior, ventilated seats, a premium JBL audio system, a heads-up display, and a panoramic roof transform the Land Cruiser into a full-fledged high-end family SUV, without compromising its off-road potential.

Overall, Toyota has effectively offered two cars in one: a classic 4x4 and a comfortable off-roader for daily life. This makes the model particularly appealing to buyers deciding which vehicle to choose in the large SUV segment. The Land Cruiser is evolving but not losing its character—a balance that keeps it among the best in its class.
