A custom-order Mitsubishi Triton BF///MS in Brazil costs $66,990. In an unexpected twist, the current promotional price of the Terra version — the trim that formed the basis for the new edition — is $980 higher, at $67,990.

There's no fixed production run for the special edition. Mitsubishi will accept orders until September 7, 2026, and will build exactly as many units as get ordered during the pre-sale period. On top of that, buyers are promised a trade-in bonus of up to $5,700, or up to $6,300 if the vehicle being traded in is a Mitsubishi.

The main differences come down to trim and equipment. A brown body pairs with a black roof and trim, and the 20-inch wheels wear Goodyear Duratrac 265/50 tires built for mixed-surface use. The package adds power-retractable side steps, a lockable bed box, a 12V outlet, and a tow hitch. The cabin gets two-tone upholstery and a JBL sound system.

There's no mechanical upgrade. The 2.4-liter twin-turbo diesel makes 205 hp and roughly 470 Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic. The Super Select II system offers rear-wheel drive, full-time four-wheel drive, a locking center differential, and low range. Payload tops out at one metric ton, and braked towing capacity reaches 3.5 tons.

It's a rare case of a special edition with extra equipment costing less than the current regular offering it's based on. But the advantage is small and tied to July pricing — once the promotions change, the balance could shift.
