Karma Gyesera price and specs: 566 hp, 360-mile range, December launch

$139,995 is the new entry point for the Karma Gyesera Grand Coupe — $35,000 less than the outgoing Revero, and $25,005 below the roughly $165,000 Karma itself quoted for the Gyesera back in 2025. After several delays, the model is now set to enter production in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The hardware has also gotten more convincing than the original promises. The latest factory specification lists 566 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque (about 740 Nm). The 0-60 mph sprint takes 3.7 seconds, down from the 4.0 seconds claimed a year ago. Top speed comes in at roughly 146 mph.

The Gyesera is an EREV: a rear electric motor drives the wheels, while the gasoline engine works purely as a range extender. The 28.1-kWh battery is good for up to 80 miles of all-electric driving, with a combined range rated at 360 miles. In other words, a battery that's small by modern BEV standards is built primarily for daily driving without firing up the engine, while long trips are covered by the generator side of the powertrain.

The four-seat coupe still rides on an aluminum space frame, with a body that mixes carbon fiber and aluminum. At roughly 199 inches long with a wheelbase of about 124 inches, the car weighs in around 5,062 lb. Inside are a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch center touchscreen, along with over-the-air software updates and a suite of driver-assistance features.

It's a notable reversal for the market. Some automakers keep walking away from the range-extender idea — BMW, for one, ruled out bringing the layout back to its lineup this spring. At the same time, EREVs are becoming more prominent in the upper and mid segments: new projects from Chinese automakers are making a similar bet on long combined range paired with a relatively compact traction battery.

For Karma itself, swapping the Revero for the Gyesera looks like more than a rename. The Revero offered around 536 hp and hit 60 mph in roughly 4.5 seconds, while the Gyesera adds power, cuts about 0.8 seconds off the sprint, and drops the starting price by $35,000 at the same time.

The next thing worth checking is actual deliveries. Karma's current materials point to fourth-quarter 2026 production, while several outlets name December specifically as when cars will reach dealers. After previous delays, it's the start of serial Gyesera deliveries that will show whether the project has moved from years of announcements to steady production.
