Avatr Vision Xpectra concept unveiled at IAA Mobility 2025
At IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, Avatr unveiled the Vision Xpectra concept. The Avatr marque was created by Changan and CATL with technological support from Huawei and is positioned as a next-generation premium brand.
According to on‑site reporting by 32CARS.RU, the show car makes an immediate impression with its scale: a 5.84‑meter length and a 3.45‑meter wheelbase, figures that place it squarely in luxury territory. The design, described as The Energy Force, leans on flowing surfaces, pronounced arches, and a fully glazed cabin that conveys an open, airy feel—an effect that suits the car’s dramatic proportions.
Inside, everything orbits an AI element called Vortex, which manages lighting and interactive effects. There are four individual seats, and the doors open toward each other without a central pillar, heightening the concept’s futuristic character while keeping the cabin layout clean and theatrical.
Technical details remain under wraps. For context, current Avatr models in China are sold both as pure electric vehicles and with a range extender. Vision Xpectra stays a show car for now, yet it clearly sets the tone for the brand’s upcoming production models.
The concept emerged as one of the standouts of IAA 2025, underscoring the drive of Chinese manufacturers to set the pace in the premium segment.
