Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Estrema arrives in Australia

Alfa Romeo has expanded its Quadrifoglio lineup with the special edition Giulia Estrema, which is now officially available in the Australian market. This limited-run model is primarily aimed at collectors and brand enthusiasts.

Performance and Dynamics

The Giulia Quadrifoglio Estrema is built on the Giorgio platform and features a 2.9-liter bi-turbo V6 engine that produces 512 horsepower and 606 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 307 km/h.

All power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The construction includes a carbon fiber driveshaft, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and Alfa's active suspension system.

Externally, the Estrema stands out with extensive use of carbon fiber in the Scudetto grille, mirrors, side skirts, rear spoiler, and active aerodynamic wing. The distinctive teledial-design alloy wheels and Brembo brakes draw particular attention, while carbon-ceramic discs are available as an option. Buyers can choose from three body colors: Etna Red, Vulcano Black, and Montreal Green, along with an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system.

Interior, Production Run, and Pricing

The interior is track-focused and trimmed in carbon fiber, covering the center console, dashboard, and steering wheel. Sparco carbon seats are available as an optional extra. Each car comes with a commemorative plaque, a certificate of authenticity, and a collectible 33 Stradale book. Only 19 units of the Giulia Quadrifoglio Estrema will be delivered to Australia, priced from 186,990 Australian dollars.

The Giulia Quadrifoglio Estrema demonstrates how Alfa Romeo transforms a production sports sedan into a collectible item. The limited production run, the full potential of the classic V6 engine, and the emphasis on driver engagement make this version more of an investment for enthusiasts than just another Giulia variant.
