Brabus 800 Widestar: the Mean Green Mercedes-AMG G 63
Brabus has taken another swing at the Mercedes-AMG G 63, recasting it as the vivid and muscular 800 Widestar. The build has been nicknamed Mean Green for its neon-hued paintwork that carries into the cabin. It grabs attention instantly, coming across as the automotive equivalent of the Hulk.
From the outside, the SUV wears broader fenders, a new front bumper with additional DRLs, a vented hood, and a signature grille. At the rear it gains fresh bumpers, a revised spare-wheel mount, and trademark badges. The roof carries extra LED light units and a spoiler. Gloss-black accents set off the saturated green body.
The interior follows the same playbook: leather and Alcantara in two shades of green cover the seats, dashboard, headliner, and doors. Brabus logos appear on the headrests and other details, while green carbon-fiber inlays round out the look.
Under the hood sits a reworked 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, uprated to 800 hp versus the standard 585. Torque remains at 850 Nm. The 0–100 km/h run could be close to 4 seconds, whereas a stock G 63 does it in 4.5.
The 800 Widestar isn’t just about numbers; it’s built for theater. On roads crowded with premium SUVs, this one is all but impossible to ignore and feels destined to steal the spotlight.
