OMODA starts production of the new C4 crossover

OMODA has officially started production of the new OMODA C4 crossover and, at the same time, announced a growth strategy aimed at reaching one million vehicle sales a year. The presentation took place in Wuhu, China, and was timed to mark the brand’s third anniversary and the milestone of one million vehicles sold worldwide.

The OMODA C4 is set to become a key model for the brand’s next stage of development. The crossover is aimed at younger buyers and adopts a Cyber Mecha design language, with sharp geometric forms and futuristic lighting. Inside, it features a 13.2-inch display, 50 W wireless charging and a digital ecosystem with more than 20 built-in games supporting game controllers.

Technically, the model is equipped with a suite of 16 driver assistance systems, a surround-view camera system and an intelligent parking assistant. For drivers looking for a more dynamic setup, the ULTRA version adds a factory sports kit and Launch Control. The package underlines a shift in emphasis from conventional specifications toward user experience and technology.

In three years, OMODA and JAECOO have entered 69 markets and built a network of more than 1,300 dealer centres. The new C4 is expected to drive the next phase of growth, particularly among younger customers.

For the market, this points to a broader change in priorities: the car is increasingly being treated as part of a digital ecosystem. OMODA is placing its bet on exactly that trend — and will now test how ready it is to become mainstream.
