DS N°7 2026: Price, Range and Test Drive Dates
French dealers open test drives for the DS N°7 on September 11, with prices unchanged and the Long Range E-TENSE rated at 740 km WLTP.
On September 11, the DS N°7 enters a stage that never happened when orders opened: French dealers will hold their first mass test-drive event for the new crossover. Cars are already arriving at every DS STORE across the countries where the brand operates, and a dedicated test-drive weekend on September 11–13 will take place even before the Paris Motor Show in October.
Pricing hasn’t changed in the meantime. Just as at the previous launch stage, the hybrid N°7 starts in France at €43,900. The electric E-TENSE FWD begins at €46,990, while the Long Range starts at €50,610.
The electric versions differ in more than just price. DS’s current release puts the front-wheel-drive E-TENSE at up to 543 km on the WLTP cycle — the same figure quoted when orders opened. The Long Range with its 97.2 kWh battery keeps its claimed 740 km. DS has also cited outputs of 230 hp and 245 hp respectively, along with fast charging up to 160 kW.
Equipment leans on comfort rather than outright dynamics: buyers get the adaptive DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION, night vision, matrix headlights and thorough sound insulation. The same idea carries through to a 14-speaker, 690-watt Focal audio system.
Another selling point at launch is the DS SERENITY programme: the warranty can run up to 8 years or 160,000 km, multimedia included, with roadside assistance available in 47 countries. Starting August 30, DS will back the retail launch with a “Put the World on Mute” ad campaign built around a remix of Björk’s ‘It’s Oh So Quiet’, but the real, verifiable milestone for the model comes on September 11, when customers finally get to sit behind the wheel of the N°7 themselves.
