Karea Fit 2026 price and specs: range, battery and what changed since March
Turkey's Karea Fit relaunches September 1 at 799,000 lira, up from its 699,000-lira debut, with 135 km range and a 9.98 kWh LFP battery.
Turkey’s Karea Fit is going back on sale on September 1 at a new price of 799,000 lira — roughly $19,600. When the two-seat electric microcar launched in March, it started at 699,000 lira, so the sticker has climbed by 100,000 lira, or 14.3%, in five months.
There is, however, a notable discrepancy. Recent reports citing Karea’s own announcement put the price at 799,000 lira with a 79,000-lira deposit, while the brand’s official site, at the time of checking, still listed 749,000 lira and a 74,000-lira deposit. The site itself confirms the August batch has sold out and a September batch is being prepared, so 799,000 lira looks like the new price for the next run.
The hardware hasn’t changed. Karea Fit uses a 12 kW electric motor — about 16 hp — paired with a 9.98 kWh LFP battery. Claimed range is 135 km, top speed is capped at 90 km/h, and a 20–80% charge from a household outlet takes about two hours. The maker backs the battery with a five-year or 100,000 km warranty.
On range, Karea comfortably beats some even smaller rivals: the Fiat Topolino, with a 5.4 kWh battery, offers around 74 km, though the two cars serve different markets and fall under different type-approval rules.
The relaunch is tied to a claimed jump in production capacity. Back in June, Karea said it was tripling output after strong demand for the first batches, and it opened a second Istanbul hub over the summer.
The most interesting figure here isn’t 135 km of range, but the +14.3% price jump in just a few months. The next thing to watch is whether the official site updates before September 1, which should finally confirm which of the two prices — 749,000 or 799,000 lira — applies to the new batch.
