Geely will open pre-orders for the Galaxy Cruiser 700 on September 15, a date confirmed by Geely Galaxy PR executive Shan Aifu. For the model, which made its debut in summer 2026, this marks the start of its commercial rollout. A full market launch is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.

830 kW and three electric motors: what is known about the Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700

Most of the Cruiser 700's technical details are already known. In the top version, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is paired with three electric motors, giving a combined output of 830 kW, or about 1129 PS. The SUV is 5085 mm long with a 2900 mm wheelbase. It also features differential locks, the GVMC control system, a crab-walk mode and the ability to turn around on the spot. The unusual body-integrated frame and the powertrain layout have also been detailed previously.

Cruiser 700 electric range: why different figures appear

There is an important detail regarding electric range. Early certification data listed 165, 170 and 185 km, while an August specification release gave 305, 280 and 270 km for the three versions under the CLTC cycle. The same versions were also listed at 191, 176 and 170 km under WLTC. These figures therefore should not be compared without stating the test cycle. All versions use a 47.14 kWh battery with CATL LFP cells.

Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 price and market launch

The biggest unknown is price, which Geely has not yet announced. The final figure will show how the Cruiser 700 is positioned against Chinese rivals from TANK and Fangchengbao.

The flagship 2.0-liter version also carries a substantial curb weight of 2750–2805 kg. Its complex PHEV system, large battery and future transaction price will all affect its appeal. On paper, the Cruiser 700 is far more powerful than a conventional crossover, but its real-world value will depend on electric range, fuel consumption with a depleted battery and the availability of after-sales service.
