Alpine A290 Collection and A390 2026: equipment and Atelier Alpine options
Alpine will show the A290 Collection and expanded Atelier Alpine options for the A390 in Paris, while new details on the electric A110 are due September 28.
Alpine has not changed the A290 powertrain for the Paris Motor Show: the main novelty will be the Collection version for the two familiar power outputs, while the A390 will receive an expanded Atelier Alpine personalization program. The show runs from October 12 to 18, according to Alpine’s official announcement.
The A290 Collection is based on the GT and GT Performance versions. It gets Blanc Nival paint with a black roof, body-colored wheel-arch trim, 19-inch Snowflake wheels, silver front brake calipers and a dedicated Bleu Profond/Gris Évée interior combining a textured finish with fabric. Options will include Bleu Orage Mat paint with a black roof, Alpine Telemetrics and the Safety Pack driver-assistance package. Alpine’s German division lists two power outputs — 130 and 160 kW, equivalent to 177 and 218 hp.
The technical basis is already familiar: the 218-hp A290 uses a 52 kWh battery and supports DC charging at up to 100 kW. The latest announcement is therefore mainly about expanding personalization choices rather than a technical upgrade.
For the A390, Atelier Alpine will add Bleu Tempête Mat paint, Sabelt seats upholstered in grey Nappa leather, forged 21-inch Snowflake wheels and matte-carbon trim. Alongside it, Alpine will show an A390 GT with new 20-inch Comète wheels. The stronger focus on personalization is no coincidence: the A290 already accounts for about 70% of Alpine sales, and almost 80% of its buyers had not previously been Renault Group customers.
Alpine is also preparing the next chapter for the future electric A110. The company plans to reveal new information about the third generation on September 28 — an announcement that is better treated as a separate news story.
