Bentley Bentayga Azure special series for Japan: 13 cars with 18K-gold Organ Stops
Bentley Japan is offering 13 Bentayga Azure and Bentayga EWB Azure SUVs with six 18K-gold Organ Stops and Light Windsor Blue paint.
Bentley Motors Japan has opened sales of a special batch of 13 Bentayga SUVs, each fitted with six gold details. Seven are standard-wheelbase Bentayga Azure models and six are Bentayga EWB Azure versions. All are finished in Light Windsor Blue and have already been built, so Bentley says they are available for quick delivery through its Japanese dealers.
The key feature is inside the cabin. Six so-called Organ Stops — the mechanical controls for the air vents — are finished in 18-karat gold. Bentley traces their shape back to details used on its cars in the 1920s: pulling or pushing the knobs adjusts the airflow.
The gold hardware predates this special series. In March, Bentley Japan added a set of four front and two rear Organ Stops to its Mulliner Aftersales Commissioning program for existing Bentayga vehicles. The official price was ¥439,000 before tax. The same six-piece set is now fitted from the factory to all 13 cars.
Bentley’s Japanese arm has repeatedly turned to small-run collections this year. Shortly before this launch, the seven-car Shadow Series appeared with satin-finished bodywork and black wheels. Another recent Mulliner project is the Nicolaus Copernicus Collection, made up of three individually commissioned Continental models for Poland.
There are no technical changes to the new Japanese Bentayga batch: the differences are limited to the exterior color and the gold cabin details. Bentley did not state the total prices of the cars in the release, so the earlier ¥439,000 figure should not be treated as a direct surcharge for this series — it was the published price of the separate accessory set in March.
