Tesla Semi Las Vegas service center: permit status and planned location
Tesla has filed to convert space at 3780 N Las Vegas Blvd into a dedicated Semi service center. The Clark County filing is still awaiting plans.
Tesla Semi is set to get a dedicated repair base in the Las Vegas area, but opening day is still far off. An application, BD26-39451, has been filed with Clark County to convert space into a specialized service facility for electric trucks. The filing is currently listed as Awaiting Plans, meaning project drawings have not yet been submitted and authorization to start work cannot be considered granted.
Electrek discovered the filing. The documents describe the project as “Tesla Semi Service Center. Tenant Improvement in new shell building.” The address is 3780 N Las Vegas Blvd at the LV Logistics One complex. Tesla is listed as the tenant, so the plan does not involve constructing a separate building from the ground up.
The site sits near Interstate 15, a key freight corridor in the western United States. Tesla lists the Semi Standard Range at about 325 miles, or roughly 523 km, on a charge. Even with enough range for a route, however, a commercial tractor still needs accessible maintenance because unplanned downtime can disrupt delivery schedules.
Service infrastructure has become more important since Tesla launched high-volume Semi production in September 2026. The dedicated factory in Sparks is designed for up to 50,000 trucks a year, but that is the plant’s rated capacity rather than its current production volume. Tesla has not disclosed its present output rate.
The company is also expanding charging infrastructure for Semi, but charging alone does not solve maintenance needs. Large fleets require workshops with diagnostic equipment, trained staff and spare parts to keep trucks out of service for as little time as possible.
On its official Semi page, Tesla lists dedicated Semi Service Centers, remote diagnostics and Mobile Service. Mobile Service is not available in every region or for every type of fault. Tesla also says routine repairs can be handled the same day, although appointment availability depends on service capacity.
No opening date has been announced for the Las Vegas-area location. Filing BD26-39451 confirms Tesla’s intention to equip a dedicated Semi workshop, but it does not confirm final permit approval, the start of construction work or readiness to accept trucks.
