Honda Stepwgn e:HEV Spada Black Edition 2026: price and features
Honda introduces a seven-seat Stepwgn hybrid with black trim and extra driver aids. Here is how it compares with the Spada and 30th Anniversary.
Honda has launched the Stepwgn e:HEV Spada Black Edition in Japan, with sales starting October 16, 2026. The special edition focuses on styling and equipment rather than a new powertrain. Its recommended Japanese price is 4,185,500 yen, before registration costs.
According to Honda, the front-wheel-drive seven-seater uses a hybrid system combining a 1,993 cc petrol engine with two electric motors. It retains the familiar Stepwgn minivan layout.
Compared with the regular e:HEV Spada, the Black Edition costs 187,000 yen more. It adds dark exterior accents, black 16-inch alloy wheels, heated second-row seats, a surround-view camera system, adaptive high beams and assistance when reversing out of a parking space.
The e:HEV Spada 30th Anniversary is an interesting alternative. Priced at 4,159,100 yen in Japan, it already includes a similar set of key comfort and electronic features. The Black Edition costs just 26,400 yen more.
The key difference is therefore the look of the bodywork and cabin, rather than a dramatic mechanical change. Prices quoted are Japanese recommended retail prices, not on-road prices in other countries.
