Volkswagen ID. UNYX 07 and 06: China prices, discounts and range
Volkswagen offers 800 ID. UNYX 07 Lite sedans at 99,900 yuan and 200 ID. UNYX 06 Lite SUVs at 119,900 yuan. Higher trims get LiDAR.
Volkswagen is offering an electric car in China for less than 100,000 yuan. The updated ID. UNYX 07 sedan costs 99,900 yuan under a limited promotion covering only 800 Lite cars in black or silver. A similar offer covers 200 ID. UNYX 06 Lite crossovers at 119,900 yuan.
Volkswagen Anhui unveiled both updates on October 17, 2026. Regular starting prices are 109,900 yuan for the ID. UNYX 07 and 129,900 yuan for the ID. UNYX 06. The promotion therefore saves another 10,000 yuan. The sedan offer runs from October 17 to November 30, subject to quantity, colour and order conditions.
Compared with their May launch, regular entry prices for both vehicles are 20,000 yuan lower. That list-price cut is separate from the additional limited Lite discount. Volkswagen is responding to intense competition in China’s mass-market EV segment.
Higher trims add driver-assistance hardware featuring a 192-line LiDAR, a Horizon Journey 6H processor rated at up to 420 TOPS, and assistance on urban routes. The system can help with complicated traffic and parking, but it does not make the vehicle fully autonomous. This equipment has not been announced for the discounted Lite versions.
Both updated models offer variants with a 77.5 kWh battery. Maximum claimed CLTC range is 630 km for the ID. UNYX 06 crossover and 670 km for the ID. UNYX 07 sedan. These figures apply to particular versions and should not be assumed for the cheapest Lite trims.
Volkswagen Anhui has also improved digital features, including driver assistance and infotainment. The equipment varies by trim, so buyers should compare the specification rather than looking at price alone.
This is not the company’s first pricing adjustment in China this year. In September, Volkswagen offered a temporary 40,000-yuan reduction on the ID. UNYX 08 versus its original entry price. The latest offers for the 06 and 07 follow that approach but have their own limits.
The key question is whether buyers can actually secure the advertised prices: only 800 ID. UNYX 07 sedans and 200 ID. UNYX 06 crossovers qualify. Once those allocations sell out, regular list prices and any other dealer offers will apply.
