As minimalist interfaces gain ground in Tesla’s lineup, the disappearance of physical buttons has become one of the most hotly debated issues among owners. Greenmission aims to change that and, following the success of its Ctrl Bar, has unveiled a new system called Ctrl Platform. It’s more than a strip of buttons; it’s a complete setup designed to bring back convenient tactile control to the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. For those who favor feedback you can feel over menu-diving, the appeal is hard to miss. The latest version pairs an upgraded Ctrl Bar 2 with a Ctrl Bridge module that plugs into the OBD port. That’s where the deeper integration happens: drivers can adjust the mirrors, open the glovebox, switch regenerative braking modes, and access other functions that used to be buried in the on-screen menus. The bar mounts beneath the central display and draws power from the glovebox USB port. A Bluetooth connection reduces response delay, and each of the ten button modules includes its own small display. Setup runs through a companion app, though it isn’t needed for day-to-day use.
