MINI Countryman S ALL4 Brazil 2026: price, launch date and specs

MINI has confirmed the gasoline all-wheel-drive Countryman S ALL4 for Brazil, with sales expected before the end of 2026 after a year-long delay.

MINI Countryman S ALL4 was supposed to reach Brazil back in 2025, but it never made it into the local lineup. Now MINI has confirmed the launch of the gasoline all-wheel-drive crossover again — according to Motor1 Brasil, sales should start before the end of 2026. This is more of a delayed return than a brand-new announcement: back in November 2024, 2025 was the year mentioned for the Countryman S.

For Brazil, only the 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine and the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system have been confirmed so far. European specs cannot be assumed here: regional tuning varies noticeably. In Europe, the S ALL4 makes 218 hp and 360 Nm and uses a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, while the Japanese-spec Countryman S ALL4 is tuned to 204 hp and 320 Nm. The final output for the Brazilian version has yet to be announced.

The new version is expected to sit a notch below the Countryman John Cooper Works ALL4 and its 317 hp. Right now, MINI Brasil's official website lists the JCW Countryman ALL4 Exclusive on promotion for 359,990 reais — roughly $65,000 at current exchange rates. That figure shouldn't be read as a price forecast for the S ALL4, though: pricing for the new version hasn't been published yet, and 359,990 reais is just the JCW's temporary promotional price.

Notably, the Countryman S ALL4 is currently absent from MINI Brasil's active lineup, so this announcement really does mark a new launch window rather than an update to an already-selling car. The Countryman family also recently gained an updated suite of driver assistance systems — in May, MINI detailed the base safety systems across its current models.

The fresh announcement came at a MINI event at Interlagos, alongside the unveiling of 20 units of the JCW GP Inspired. But for the market, the Countryman S ALL4 matters more: it brings back a less extreme, gasoline all-wheel-drive option to the Brazilian lineup, slotting between the electric Countryman and the pricier JCW. The next key details to watch for are local output, whether the 48-volt hybrid system will be included, trim levels, and pricing.
