For the 2026 model year, the Cadillac CT5 no longer offers a V6 as an option in the Premium Luxury trim. This version now comes exclusively with the standard 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 237 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic. The shift streamlines the trim and puts the focus squarely on a single powertrain.

Until recently, Premium Luxury could still be ordered with the LGY 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 335 horsepower. The final batch of CT5 Premium Luxury sedans equipped with that V6 is scheduled for early December, a quiet close to a configuration that appealed to buyers who valued extra punch underfoot.

Opting for the 3.0-liter twin-turbo in a CT5 Premium Luxury required an additional $3,500 on top of the sedan’s $50,095 base price, which includes a $1,495 destination charge. With the V6 gone from this trim, the Premium Luxury now leans on the 2.0 turbo and its 10-speed pairing to define the model’s character.
