Jeep kicked off the 2026 Brussels Motor Show with a striking premiere—the new Avenger Black Edition. The model, already one of the brand’s standout successes in the compact SUV class, receives visual and functional updates aimed squarely at style and at broadening its appeal, a move that leans into design without losing everyday usability.

Black exterior and refreshed cabin

True to its name, the Black Edition wears a deep gloss-black finish with no contrasting accents. Even the badges and 17-inch wheels are painted black. The theme continues inside with a dark cabin palette, a black dashboard and center tunnel, and mixed-material seat upholstery. It’s based on the popular Altitude grade, which includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a contemporary infotainment system. The monochrome treatment lends the Avenger a cohesive, purposeful look.

Equipment and options

The standard kit is extensive: climate control, heated mirrors, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam assist, a rearview camera, parking sensors, the UConnect system, and even Selec-Terrain modes. Options include a JBL audio system, navigation, a hands-free tailgate, and a winter package. The specification reads as a clear nod to daily comfort while keeping a touch of light-trail confidence via the drive modes.

Powertrain lineup

Although Jeep has yet to reveal the full set of powertrains for the Black Edition, three versions are expected: a 156-hp electric motor, a 100-hp gasoline engine, and a 110-hp MHEV. All variants will feature the brand’s traction management settings and hill descent control.

Conclusion

The Avenger Black Edition strengthens Jeep’s position among style-focused compact SUVs, adding visual boldness and richer equipment. Official pricing will be announced later, and dealers are already taking orders.
