Cadillac, Bentley, Ferrari win top design innovation awards

Cadillac, Bentley, and Ferrari earn prestigious EyesOn Design awards at the Detroit Auto Show for innovation in automotive design, with expert panel voting.

Cadillac, Bentley, and Ferrari have taken top honors for design innovation at the 20th annual EyesOn Design awards. The announcement was made during the ongoing Detroit Auto Show.

The Bentley EXP 15 concept won in two categories: Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, or Materials, and Interior. Meanwhile, the Ferrari Amalfi claimed victory in the Production category, while the Cadillac Elevated Velocity triumphed in the Concept category.

Other finalists for the 20th annual EyesOn Design awards included the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, Ferrari F80, Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept, and BMW Concept Speedtop.

According to the award's website, this is one of the most prestigious honors in the automotive industry, valued by designers worldwide as peer recognition for outstanding design.

More than 50 experts from across the automotive world participated in the voting. The panel included Ralph Gilles, head of design at Stellantis; Bob Lutz, former vice chairman of General Motors; Todd Willing, head of design at Ford Motor Co.; and Franz von Holzhausen, chief designer at Tesla.
