Ford has begun revealing details about the 2026 Bronco Sport, starting with a new body color called Space White Metallic. This A3-coded shade joins the palette alongside Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat and Ruby Red Metallic, giving the crossover a more premium visual appeal.

Space White Metallic is available for the Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands trims at no extra cost. It can be paired with the new Bronze package or the off-road-oriented Bronze + Black Diamond package. However, the color is only offered with specific interior options, including Dark Space Grey, Platinum Blue, Ebony, and Bronze Fire, which limits configuration flexibility.

Overall, the 2026 Bronco Sport offers eight body colors. Notably, Eruption Green Metallic and Desert Sand have been removed from the lineup—colors that previously emphasized the model's off-road character. This shift highlights a move toward a more versatile, urban style. But the updates go beyond cosmetics.

For the 2026 model year, Ford has revised the equipment list. Three trims—Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks—have lost the 12.3-inch display, now receiving an 8-inch screen as standard. Wireless smartphone charging, an adjustable spotlight, and rain-sensing wipers have also been dropped. Some features from the Black Diamond package are now optional extras, while a new safety package is available for the first time via subscription.

In practice, this means the 2026 Bronco Sport looks fresher with its new colors but also serves as an example of how automakers balance design updates with equipment optimization. Space White Metallic does enhance the Bronco Sport's appearance, yet the reduction in standard features shows that even Ford's off-road models are increasingly cutting costs in small ways, shifting choices onto the buyer.
