Buick is gearing up to launch production of the 2027 model year Enclave, which will mark the third year of the current generation. According to available information, the crossover will maintain its "carry-over" status, meaning no major design or technical changes are planned. The focus remains on stability and a proven formula.

General Motors' production schedule indicates that serial production of the 2027 Buick Enclave will begin on July 20, 2026, at the Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. Production of the 2026 version will wrap up just three days prior, on July 17, suggesting a quick and seamless transition between model years. Dealers will start accepting orders for the 2027 Enclave on June 18, 2026, while final orders for the 2026 model must be placed by late May.

The trim lineup will continue to include the Preferred, Sport Touring, and flagship Avenir versions. Only minor adjustments to the color palette and option packages are expected, with no changes to the vehicle's underlying architecture. The Enclave continues to target buyers who prioritize spaciousness, comfort, and a premium image. The technical specifications will remain unchanged.

Under the hood, the vehicle retains its turbocharged 2.5-liter LK0 engine producing 328 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The cabin accommodates seven passengers and features a large 30-inch multimedia screen, which remains one of the model's key highlights.

The 2027 Buick Enclave will also keep its towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg) and the optional Super Cruise system for semi-autonomous driving. Higher trims offer features like massaging seats, a panoramic sunroof, and advanced driver-assistance systems, reinforcing its role as a comfortable family flagship.

Buick's strategy of minimal changes makes sense: the current-generation Enclave fits well into the market for large family SUVs. While the brand prepares more significant updates and potential electrification, the 2027 Enclave serves as a reliable anchor for the lineup, avoiding experimentation.
