Stellantis has announced another recall. The safety campaign covers only new right-hand-drive vehicles from the popular Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross lines, as well as the Vauxhall Frontera.

The company warns owners about a potential brake-system issue caused by an inadequately secured brake pedal. That, in turn, could lead to an unexpected drop in braking performance and raise the risk of an accident. The very fact that braking is in question makes the alert especially serious.

At this stage, the recall is expected to affect 1,100 vehicles. Stellantis has issued an instruction not to operate cars that have already been delivered, advising owners to park their vehicles until the defect is fixed. Deliveries of the Frontera to dealers will be postponed by several weeks so workshops can carry out the necessary repair. The pause is a clear sign that safety takes precedence over showroom timing.
