The Volvo EX30 continues to rack up international awards. The compact electric crossover has earned the Good Design Award 2025, one of the world's most prestigious industrial design accolades, established back in 1950 by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

Judges praised its blend of Scandinavian aesthetics, functionality, and a sustainable approach to manufacturing. Positioned as Volvo's most environmentally friendly fully electric vehicle in terms of carbon footprint, the EX30 makes extensive use of recycled and natural materials. Its "more from less" philosophy has reduced component count and lowered production costs.

The model debuted in summer 2023 and quickly became the brand's bestseller. To date, nearly 200,000 units have been sold. It offers a range of up to 475 km, and the lineup recently gained a new base powertrain variant.

Despite its compact dimensions, the EX30 retains classic Volvo traits: high safety standards, clean design, and a premium interior. Wheels pushed to the corners and short overhangs create a long wheelbase and spacious cabin.

This latest award adds to dozens of international titles, underscoring that the EX30 has become a strategically crucial model for Volvo in the affordable electric crossover segment.
