Volkswagen has unveiled the updated 2027 model year Taigo lineup for the Spanish market. The coupe-style crossover, which is manufactured domestically, features revised pricing and a simplified trim structure, strengthening its competitive stance against the Renault Arkana.

The trim hierarchy remains unchanged with Base, MAS, and R-Line variants. However, the entry-level version is now offered exclusively with a 95-horsepower 1.0 TSI engine paired with a manual transmission. Pricing for this configuration starts at €24,996.

The mid-range trim includes a 116-horsepower 1.0 TSI engine available with either a manual or DSG automatic transmission. The top-tier version is equipped with a 150-horsepower 1.5 TSI engine and a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The maximum price reaches €33,936.

Standard equipment remains competitive, featuring a digital instrument cluster, multimedia system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, adaptive cruise control, and driver assistance systems even in the base model.

By streamlining the lineup, Volkswagen can focus on the most popular configurations while maintaining attractive pricing in Europe's affordable SUV-coupe segment.
