The all-new smart #6 will make its public debut at the annual Beijing International Auto Show in April 2026. This model is the largest ever produced by the brand, with a body length of 4,906 millimeters and a wheelbase of 2.93 meters.

Built on a modern modular platform from Chinese automaker Geely, the smart #6 features an advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain delivering 320 kilowatts, or roughly 429 horsepower. The system combines a compact 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).

This launch marks a significant step for smart, expanding its lineup into the midsize segment. However, the model is primarily aimed at the Chinese market, as the brand's European strategy focuses solely on electric vehicles.
