Voyah unveiled the new Passion L sedan at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, positioning it in the mid-to-large segment. The model arrives with a fully reworked design and Huawei’s latest intelligent systems, including the QianKun driver-assistance suite and a HarmonyOS-based cabin.

The exterior follows the idea of “spread Kunpeng wings,” with a front end that visually unites the grille and hood, accented by chrome details and an illuminated brand emblem. Daytime running lights are arranged in a two-tier layout, while the headlamp setup splits into an upper module array and lower units for low and high beams. The lighting signature comes across as modern and precise rather than showy.

In profile, the sedan emphasizes length with stretched body lines and large semi-closed chrome-finished wheels. The footprint is substantial: length 5125 mm, width 1985 mm, height 1505–1522 mm, and a 3010 mm wheelbase. At the rear, a full-width LED strip offers two-level illumination, and sensors integrated into the trunk lid enable expanded recognition functions. The proportions alone signal a confident road presence.

Inside, the focus is squarely on digital features. The Huawei HarmonyOS smart cockpit supports voice control, online services, and a wide range of multimedia functions. QianKun ADS brings enhanced highway and urban assistance, aiming to reduce driver workload in everyday use. The tech wraparound feels cohesive, not a patchwork of add-ons.

The powertrain pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (110 kW) with two electric motors rated at 150 kW and 230 kW. A 63 kWh battery enables up to 410 km of pure electric driving on the CLTC cycle. In depleted-battery mode, average fuel consumption is 5.67 L/100 km under WLTC.

Voyah Passion L shows how quickly Chinese brands are moving beyond the role of followers. It blends assertive design, Huawei-powered intelligence, and credible hybrid figures into a package that reads premium without the pretense. On paper, it lines up against German luxury sedans—only with a far more accessible price tag.
