Toyota has unveiled the new C-HR+ in Europe, a larger, fully electric take on the popular C-HR. Built on the e-TNGA platform and aimed at the C-SUV class, it measures 4.52 meters in length and offers 416 liters of cargo space.

At launch, the lineup centers on a 77 kWh battery in two versions. The entry C-HR+ ADVANCE 225 delivers 224 hp and 269 Nm, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, reaches 160 km/h, and claims up to 600 km of WLTP range. Standard equipment includes 18-inch wheels, climate control with a heat pump, heated front seats and steering wheel, a 14-inch infotainment display, and a digital instrument cluster. On paper, the mix of range and kit looks well judged for everyday use.

The flagship C-HR+ SPIRIT 345 AWD-i adds a second motor and all-wheel drive. It produces 343 hp and 438 Nm, does 0–100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, and offers around 475 km of WLTP range. Available options include 20-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, JBL audio, a digital key, and AC charging up to 22 kW. DC fast charging reaches up to 150 kW. This setup trades a slice of range for stronger pace and traction.

Prices start at €36,500 for the ADVANCE and €44,000 for the SPIRIT AWD-i. That positions the Toyota C-HR+ as a compelling proposition against rivals such as the VW ID.4 and Peugeot E-3008, as well as Chinese models like the BYD Atto 3 and OMODA 5 EV.
