The Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has won the World Car Awards 2026 in the World Performance Car category. The award ceremony took place at the New York Auto Show. This marks the second such success for the N brand in three years, following a similar award for the IONIQ 5 N.

The IONIQ 6 N features an electric powertrain delivering up to 641 horsepower in N Grin Boost mode. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. This model is designed for both daily driving and track use.

The car incorporates technologies that enhance driver engagement. The N e-Shift system simulates gear shifts, while N Active Sound+ provides auditory feedback during motion. Its 84 kWh battery supports fast charging, reaching from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes when using a 350 kW station.

Hyundai has been receiving World Car Awards for five consecutive years. In 2025, the INSTER was recognized as the best electric vehicle, in 2024 the IONIQ 5 N won, and in 2023 the IONIQ 6 secured three awards.
