At AvtoSpetsTsentr Khimki, an authorized Chery and Tenet dealership, Moscow’s first sale of the Tenet T7 crossover in the Active 2WD configuration took place, followed by a ceremonial handover to the buyers. Company representatives shared the news with SPEEDME.RU.

The Tenet T7 is the brand’s first model available in Russia. The Kaluga-assembled crossover, built on the Tiggo 7 platform familiar to Russian drivers, went on sale in late August. On the very first day, AvtoSpetsTsentr Khimki became the first official Tenet dealer in Moscow to deliver the new car to a customer. For a debut, combining a proven base with local assembly makes for a pragmatic entry.

Notably, the buyer who ultimately took home the new T7 had planned to swap a Chery Tiggo 7 Pro for the updated Chery Tiggo 7L, but after reviewing Tenet’s lineup opted for the domestically assembled T7. The choice looks logical given the familiar underpinnings and local build.

According to the owner of Moscow’s first Tenet T7, many years behind the wheel and experience with different cars led to an appreciation of the advantages of Chinese brands, which prompted the decision to try the new T7. They were confident it was the right move, noting an optimal price, a striking design, and strong technical characteristics that, in their view, hold their own against familiar European marques—adding that their new car is clear proof of how these brands keep improving.
