Lynk & Co used the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show to unveil refreshed versions of the 07 EM-P and 08 EM-P. Both models bring sharper styling and a broader tech toolkit, highlighted by a roof-mounted lidar designed to bolster intelligent driving functions. The placement signals a push toward more confident driver assistance rather than a mere design flourish. The Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is positioned as a midsize sedan. It measures 4,835 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a 2,843 mm wheelbase. Power comes from a hybrid setup built around a 1.5-liter engine rated at 120 kW paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined 381 hp. A 3-speed DHT transmission handles shifting. The 18.99 kWh battery provides up to 126 km of electric-only range, and fast charging takes the state of charge from 30 to 80% in 27 minutes. On paper, the powertrain reads as a pragmatic mix of efficiency and punch for daily use.The Lynk & Co 08 EM-P has been updated as well: larger air intakes and new wheels underscore a sportier stance. Both models now offer fresh exterior colors, including purple and silver. The lineup spans single- and dual-motor versions with outputs up to 436 kW (593 hp) and up to 905 Nm of torque, while electric-only range reaches up to 245 km. If those figures hold in everyday driving, many commutes could be covered without tapping the gasoline engine.Together, the two newcomers show how Chinese brands are approaching 2025: blending advanced tech, clean design, and longer electric running to make electrified models more appealing without complicating the ownership experience.
