In the world of expensive off-roaders, some models already seem almost impossible to make more conspicuous. Yet tuning house Mansory has proved otherwise once again with the P720, a project based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63.

The model’s appearance has been comprehensively reworked: a massive body kit with widened arches, an aggressive front bumper with additional lighting, a new vented bonnet and a redesigned grille carrying the Mansory logo.

Forged carbon is used extensively, underlining the car’s premium positioning while also adding to its visually overloaded character. At the rear, the SUV gains a new bumper, extra lighting, a diffuser with eight vertical elements and an updated spare-wheel cover. Large wheels with low-profile tyres and retractable side steps complete the look.

The cabin follows a contrasting theme, with light blue and white leather, carbon inserts and Mansory logos placed almost everywhere. The interior looks no less extravagant than the exterior, reinforcing the car’s role as an object of individual self-expression.

The key upgrade is hidden under the bonnet: the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 has been tuned to 720 hp. That is a significant increase over the standard version, making the SUV even more dynamic.

Mansory has long worked on the edge of taste, and that is precisely what attracts its audience. This G-Class is hardly a universal choice, but among cars built for self-expression it certainly occupies a very particular place.
