Lamborghini has confirmed it will roll out even more radical special editions of its models. The success of the Huracan STO and, especially, the off-road Huracan Sterrato shows the brand has plenty of scope to rethink even its staple supercars.

Head of sales and marketing Federico Foskni indicated the company would go beyond straightforward updates, with the aim of surprising its audience. Among the possible directions he cited were a return of the Sterrato, as well as limited runs of the Urus crossover and the flagship Revuelto hybrid.

Lamborghini has already shown that even its boldest ideas can reach the road. The Urus participated in a record run at Pikes Peak and gained an ST-X racing version. In time, similar concepts could morph into commercial special editions.

Alongside the wild projects, the company is doubling down on customization. A new paint shop in Sant'Agata enables up to 400 unique color choices for the Revuelto and the upcoming Temerario. This approach lifts profitability without raising production volumes, preserving the brand's exclusivity.

Taken together, it points to a brand staying true to itself, where eccentricity and rarity matter more than scale. With the Sterrato as a springboard, even bolder projects are likely ahead, and Foskni’s hints suggest the Urus and Revuelto will also gain versions that could go down in history as quintessential Lamborghinis.
