Ford Bronco Filson crosses the border: Mexico gets the most premium Bronco yet

The Ford Bronco Filson 2027 model year is heading beyond the United States. The special edition of the SUV will arrive in Mexico during the 2027 calendar year, joining the Outer Banks and Badlands trims already available there.

Pricing for the Filson in Mexico has not yet been disclosed. The U.S. sticker has not been finalized either, but Ford has previously pointed to a starting figure in the mid-$70,000 range.

The Filson version stands apart from the regular Bronco lineup with exterior and interior styling inspired by the outdoor outfitter of the same name. The SUV gets a distinctive grille with brass accents, special Bronco lettering, body-painted mirror caps and heritage-painted wheel arches. The exclusive color is Field Green Metallic, with Marsh Gray, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Shadow Black and Oxford White also on the menu.

Inside, the cabin features perforated leather seats with woven trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, brass accents and signature Filson storage bags. The door-mounted bags are dirt- and water-resistant, while acoustic glass and reworked seals cut wind noise by nearly 20% compared with the 2021 Bronco.

Under the hood sits the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 familiar from the Bronco Raptor — but with its own application-specific tuning for the Filson. Ford plans to keep the Bronco Filson in the permanent lineup, while the launch Bronco Filson First Edition will be a limited run.
