KGM Musso Rhino and Rhino+ 2026: specs, payload and UK price

KGM has expanded the Musso family with a new diesel pickup, the Rhino, and this launch is about more than just another trim level. Alongside the arrival of the Musso EV, the Korean brand keeps a classic workhorse in the line-up: a 2.2-litre diesel with four-wheel drive, a 3.5-tonne towing capacity and a 6900 kg gross train weight. For farmers, construction crews and small businesses, that still makes a stronger case than talk of batteries and charging.

The Musso Rhino gets a 202 hp engine and selectable four-wheel drive. Increased ground clearance and improved approach and departure angles should help on dirt tracks, building sites and rural roads. There are two versions: Rhino and Rhino+. The former carries 1090 kg and has a 1011-litre load bed. The Rhino+ has a bed 310 mm longer, payload raised to 1200 kg and load volume up to 1262 litres — according to KGM, the biggest bed in the class. In Britain the Rhino is priced from £38,995 ex VAT and the Rhino+ from £39,995 ex VAT, with both versions on sale now.

For a working pickup, the equipment is surprisingly generous. Inside there are Nappa leather seats, power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, front and rear heating, and dual-zone climate control with dedicated vents for the second row. The digital side is handled by a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a matching multimedia screen with TomTom navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also wireless charging, USB-C in the rear, adaptive cruise control, push-button start and remote engine start.

On the British market the Musso Rhino will have to take on the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max and Maxus T90. KGM’s strength is the mix of high payload, a diesel engine and generous kit; its weakness is image — in the pickup segment, resale value and brand trust often matter more than an options list.
