Eifelland Relax (Nissan Interstar-e) 2026: price, range and specs

No gas bottle, no diesel generator, no campsite hookup — that's the headline change in the new Eifelland Relax. The camper van is built on the Nissan Interstar-e, and its standard Truma Eezy heater draws power directly from the traction battery through the vehicle's V2L system.

The public debut takes place at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, running from August 28 to September 6, 2026. Prices start at €89,900. For that money, buyers get an 87 kWh battery, a 143 hp (300 Nm) electric motor, DC charging up to 130 kW and a standard three-phase 22 kW AC charger.

The claimed 410 km WLTP figure shouldn't be read as the finished camper's real-world range: that number applies to the base van. Furniture, passengers, water and gear all add weight, and the heater draws extra energy while parked. Nissan and Eifelland haven't published separate measurements for the fully equipped vehicle.

The Truma Eezy's peak output is 1.8 kW. Running flat out for eight hours straight would theoretically consume 14.4 kWh — about 17% of the battery's rated capacity. In practice the heater cycles on and off and has an economy mode, but the claim of minimal range loss holds mainly for mild weather, not a freezing night. Inside, the Relax gets a fixed 1.90 by 1.60 meter bed, an induction hob, a sink and a 90-liter fridge.

Two extra seats can be removed to free up cargo room, taking total storage volume to 2.6 cubic meters. At a gross weight of 3.5 tonnes, payload is capped at 435 kg — which has to cover passengers, water and all the camping gear.

Nissan's chief previously said he'd like to bring back the Silvia, though there's no project for it yet.
