Bestune Italy: lineup, distributor and what's changed since the May debut

FAW has officially named China Car Company as Bestune's importer and distributor in Italy, with a lineup that has already shifted since May.

On August 7, FAW officially confirmed China Car Company as the importer and distributor of Bestune in Italy. This is no longer the May demo of a handful of cars for dealers: the partner is now required to build up sales, a service network, and gradually expand the range. But there’s a catch — the list of announced cars has already changed over the past few months.

The new plan includes the petrol-powered Bestune T77, T90 and B70S, plus the plug-in hybrid JoyEE 08 PHEV Super Hybrid, claimed to offer up to 210 km of electric range. In 2027, the fully electric Joy EE04 is set to join them. Pricing for this specific lineup and the number of future dealerships haven’t been announced yet.

Back in spring, the picture looked different. China Car Company showed the T77 and Joy EE07 PHEV in Verona, with the latter also claimed to offer up to 210 km of electric range. SPEEDME.RU first covered the brand’s initial Italian program on May 20.

There’s also some interim market data. In July, Italian sources published a lineup of T77, B70, T90 and JoyEE 07 with prices starting from €27,498 up to €38,490, reporting the cars were already available to order. The August announcement now names the B70S and JoyEE 08 instead, without a new price list.

So the main change here isn’t another Chinese brand entering the market — it’s the shift from trial shipments to a stated long-term distribution deal. For buyers, the next document that matters is the final Italian price list with exact trims and a list of service locations.
