ARCFOX unveiled a Xian Ni-themed art car version of its Alpha T7 crossover at Chengdu, with a 1,315 km hybrid range and pricing expected around 200,000 yuan.

The ARCFOX αT7 crossover made its world premiere at the Chengdu Motor Show 2026. SPEEDME.RU photographed the most unusual example of the model — a show car wrapped in full-body artwork inspired by the Chinese animated series Xian Ni, also known as Renegade Immortal. Pre-sales in China open on August 26.

The crossover became an art car

The black body is fully covered with images of characters, lightning bolts and fantastical landscapes. At the center of the composition is the series’ protagonist, Wang Lin, while the bold livery is set off by black multi-spoke wheels and yellow brake calipers. Inside, the cabin uses contrasting warm orange-brown trim.

ARCFOX officially announced its collaboration with the creators of Xian Ni on August 18. Wang Lin was named a special ambassador for the Alpha T7, and the company promised to reveal further details of the project at the Chengdu show. There is no word yet on whether such a livery will be offered for the production car — the car on display should be considered a themed show car.

The ARCFOX αT7 is a large five-seat crossover. It measures 5,020 mm long, 1,996 mm wide and 1,685 mm tall, with a 3,040 mm wheelbase. The model features a sloping roofline, semi-flush door handles, pronounced air ducts in the front bumper and a large spoiler above the tailgate.

Inside, buyers get a 17.3-inch 3K central touchscreen and a 1.1-meter PHUD projection system that replaces the traditional instrument cluster. The equipment list includes the Huawei Qiankun driver-assistance suite, while range-topping versions add an expanded set of cameras, radars and a lidar unit. Production is handled at the BAIC BluePark Magna plant.

Electric or series hybrid

Buyers will be offered two powertrains. The series hybrid pairs a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 77 kW, which works mainly as a generator, with a 200 kW (272 hp) traction motor. Claimed range without the engine running reaches 320 km, with total range hitting 1,315 km on the Chinese CLTC cycle.

The all-electric version develops 227 kW, or 309 hp. Buyers can choose between 72.8 kWh and 84.8 kWh battery packs, good for 650 km and 715 km respectively on the CLTC cycle. The car rides on an 800-volt architecture, with a 30–80% charge said to take around 15 minutes. ARCFOX also states that it uses CATL batteries exclusively, without mixing suppliers within a single trim.

How much the ARCFOX Alpha T7 could cost

An official price list will be announced closer to the start of pre-sales. The model is expected to sit in the roughly 200,000-yuan segment, or around $28,000 at current exchange rates. That figure reflects only a direct currency conversion of the Chinese price — excluding shipping, customs duties, and dealer markup.

No official deliveries of the Alpha T7 have been announced outside China so far.
