Volvo is marking 70 years in the United States with a collaboration alongside renowned designer Sergio Hudson, unveiling a limited clothing collection inspired by the all-electric EX90 crossover. The lineup includes two pieces—a coat and a belt—crafted from the same eco-friendly materials used in the vehicle’s cabin.

The wool-blend coat ($1,895) with crisp lines and a relaxed silhouette channels Scandinavian minimalism. Its fabric matches the EX90’s seat upholstery, and the cut is tailored with driver comfort in mind. The Nordico in Dawn belt ($225) nods to Volvo’s iconic three-point safety belt: it’s made from recycled materials and finished with platinum accents carrying both Volvo and Hudson logos. The pieces lean practical yet come across as genuinely polished.

The collection underscores a shared South Carolina thread: Volvo builds the EX90 there, and Hudson was born there. He noted that his goal was to convey a sense of conscious luxury and welcoming comfort that defines Volvo interiors—a theme that comes through in the calm, pared-back look of the pieces.

The limited series will be available online in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom starting October 20. Every item is handmade at the Sergio Hudson Collections American factory. Taken together, the collaboration suggests Volvo’s philosophy—blending safety, elegance, and sustainable design—extends beyond cars and into everyday life.
